Why Chiropractic and Posture Exercise Work Well Together

We live on a planet with gravitational pull. As such , we are subject to its forces. Constant pull on our weight bearing joints makes us more susceptible to joint degeneration. As a result, it is a fact that given long enough time, even with proper weight bearing and excellent joint mobility, every single person will eventually have advanced arthritis in every joint.

Modern Chiropractic care includes many passive modalities. These modalities, including ultrasound, interferential, and cold laser, may help with symptom reduction but do very little in addressing the true underlying problems. Chiropractic Manipulation coupled with spinal decompression will help reduce the effects of arthritic change in the spinal vertebrae. But to truly address the deteriorating spinal effect due to gravity and normal wear and tear, you have to make sure all joints are weight bearing correctly.

That is why postural exercises are crucial to spinal and joint health. A joint that has correct posture will distribute gravitational forces evenly. This goes a long way in preventing rapid joint decay. Correct posture exercises should become part of every person’s daily activity.

Chiropractic offices are becoming the standard of care for lower back and neck pain. By emphasizing good postural health and joint mobility, patients will perceive excellent value in seeing their chiropractor.
