Wal-Mart to Add Clinics to “offer “the lowest-cost primary health-care services”

This is a trendline I have talked about in classes since 2007…..

From Wall Street Journal 11/10/11…

“Wal-mart has a new plan to conquer the world by becoming “the largest provider of primary health-care services in the nation.”

IMPLICATION: People will be paying for more care out of pocket, and customer satisfaction with service will go down.

OPPORTUNITY:  Have a practice model which builds strong relationships based on providing service and value to those people now.
