Pilates Exercise Long Spine
Pilates Exercise Long Spine is performed on the Pilates Reformer.
Long Stretch or Pilates Long Spine is a very challenging exercise. It is often first taught on the floor or using all Reformer springs so the carriage does not move. This way the client can learn by stabilizing first.
After rolling up slowly, the legs are separate slightly and then you roll the spine back down one vertebra at a time until you reach neutral position.
