Many of us–patients and wellness professionals alike– are stressed by the recent politics and economics of debt crisis and market meltdowns.
Is it going to be for the best? My reading of the tea leaves is besides the point, but my strong suggestion is to keep your head level, emotionally as well as posturally. Panic is almost always the worst response, and focusing on the negative has real negative effects on neuro-chemicals, outlook and attitude.
Especially now, the emotional strength from things for which we are grateful can help balance those things which are not going as we planned for, hoped for, or would like. The key: choosing where we focus….and where we can help focus others.
